Bilim Pharmaceuticals

In line with its mission as a "well-established" company, Bilim Pharmaceuticals attaches importance to people and human health, adopts quality as a philosophy of life, is open to continuous development, uses advanced technology, produces at international standards, is customer-oriented and develops economical products.

1953

We started operating as a Science Laboratory

1961

We established the Bilim Medical Preparations Laboratory.

1968

We were renamed as Bilim Pharmaceuticals Industry and Trade Inc. (Bilim İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.)

1974

We started to carry out our Bilim Pharmaceuticals activities under the roof of the BİLFAR Group.

1975

We commissioned the Bilim Ayazağa Facilty.

1998

We commissioned the Bilim Çerkezköy Facility.

1998

We adopted the EFQM Excellence Model as Bilim Pharmaceuticals' corporate governance model.

2004

We received OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate.

2004

We became the first company in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry to receive "EFQM Competence in Excellence Approval".

2004

We received ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification.

2004

We received ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification.

2005

We established the Bilim Pharmaceuticals Community Volunteers Platform.

2006

Our Bilim Çerkezköy Facility received the approval of the German Ministry of Health.

2006

We started to implement a Reputation Management Model.

2008

Our Bilim Pharmaceuticals Ayazağa production facility was moved to the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone in order to meet increasing production needs and to realize our high export targets. Thus, we put our Bilim Gebze Facility into service.

2009

Our Bilim Gebze facility has received UK Department of Health Approval.

2009

We received the R&D Center Certificate from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

2010

We became the first company in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry to publish a Carbon Footprint Report.

2010

We became the first company in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry to publish a Corporate Responsibility Report.

2010

We became the first company in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry to sign the Global Compact.

2010

We were selected as CSR Europe Business 2020 Turkey Representative.

2011

We became the first company in Turkey to publish a GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) approved A-level Corporate Responsibility Report.

We became a Finalist for the European Foundation for Quality Management "EFQM Excellence Award".

Received the grand prize in the "Talent Management" category of the PERYÖN Human Management Awards and was a finalist in the "Recruitment" category.

Bilim Pharmaceuticals became the first company, and at the same time the FIRST PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY, to be awarded the EUROPEAN QUALITY GRAND PRIZE, which no other company in Europe has received in the last three years. In addition to this major award, Bilim Pharmaceuticals also received the SUCCESS Award in four categories for the first time ever.

2011

Bilim Pharmaceuticals received the "Most Creative Project" and "Most Successful Volunteer" awards.

2012

Turkey's first Sustainable Brand Award was presented to Bilim Pharmaceuticals.

2012

We won the KSSD Marketplace Stakeholder First Prize. Bilim Pharmaceuticals became the first GRI-approved company to publish an A+ level Corporate Responsibility Report.

2013

We ranked 1st in CSR Europe Turkey.

2013

The second GRI A+ level Corporate Responsibility Report was published.

2015

Bilim Pharmaceuticals became the first pharmaceutical company to sign the UN 'Business for Peace' Declaration of Support.

2015

Bilim Pharmaceuticals became a signatory of WEP's (Women's Empowerment Principles), a partnership of the United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.

2015

We were awarded the Brandon Hall Award for Excellence.

2019

Production started at Gebze Sterile Liquid Production Facility.

2019

We won The One Awards Most Reputable Pharmaceutical Company of the Year Award.

2020

We received the Social Media Awards Turkey Bronze Award.
